Believed to have originated at the Waldorf Astoria in 1901 and a firm favourite of U.S President Franklin D. Roosevelt, the dirty martini takes our classic martini base and gives it a savoury flourish with the addition of green olive brine from Toolunka Creek in South Australia.

Tasting notes

A complex nose of green olive and fennel backed by sappy pine, fresh thyme and waxy citrus zest gives a full bodied generous mouthfeel with balanced olive salinity and a strong juniper back- bone that is complemented by charred lemon and almond.

Serving suggestion

Simply chill, then pour into an ice cold cocktail glass. Garnish with an olive, our favourites include the giant Bella di Cerignola or Toolunka Creek’s Jumbo Wallace.

Archie Rose Straight Dry Gin, Carpano dry vermouth, Toolunka Creek olive brine and filtered water. Refrigerate after opening.
